Non-surgical procedures are sought by patients who desire to extend the effect of surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, as well as by those who desire to refresh their facial appearance but do not want to pursue surgery. Lip Injections

Lesley Tennant is a practising aesthetic nurse injector who specializes in the art of cosmetic rejuvenation.

Lesley received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, graduating with Honours.

Lesley has embraced aesthetic nursing and uses skin conditioning, BOTOX^® and dermal fillers to enhance the natural beauty of her clients. Lesley is an avid believer in ongoing education, and she continues to attend courses and conferences to enhance her skills.

BOTOX^® COSMETIC^® is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium and can be used to weaken muscles that produce undesirable facial expressions. This injectable treatment is most commonly used to weaken the muscles that create frown lines between the eyebrows. BOTOX COSMETIC treatment can also be used to diminish crow’s feet and forehead lines. The entire procedure can take as little as 15 minutes, and the results will last from 4 to 6 months.

Dysport^® aesthetic also uses botulinum protein to weaken facial muscles that produce unwanted creases and expressions. It is commonly used to treat frown lines, forehead creases and crow’s feet. The results will usually last 4 to 6 months.

Xeomin^® is another neuromodulator that is now available for treatment of upper facial aging, including frown and forehead lines as well as crow’s feet. Dr. Pugash will discuss with you its role as an alternative to BOTOX COSMETIC treatment.

Restylane^® is a hyaluronic acid gel that is used to fill out lips, facial wrinkles and facial folds. Do not be misled by the word ‘acid’ – these products are clear, cool gels that do not damage the tissues when they are injected. We proudly offer the following Restylane products:

Emervel is a hyaluronic acid filler, resembling the HA that is normally present in our skin. The Emervel range of fillers is tailored to the specific needs of the patient, such as softening wrinkles and folds around the mouth and nose, restoring volume to the cheeks and lips, and contouring important facial features such as the cheek bones and chin. The results may last 6 to 12 months depending on the location and the specific product.
