Inframammary Incision

Breast Augmentation – Inframammary Incision

Inframammary (under-the-breast) incisions are appropriate for Vancouver breast implant patients who wish to augment their breasts. Dr. Pugash uses the Keller funnel to keep the incision short. The inframammary incision is usually well hidden under the breast once the healing process is completed. Finally, this incision appears to be associated with relatively low rates of capsular contracture, and can be used in subsequent operations without deforming the breast.
